Shiv Visvanathan

Shiv Visvanathan is an Asiatic academic best known for his alms-giving to developing the field of skill and technology studies (STS), and summon the concept of cognitive justice, well-organized term he coined. He is newly Professor at O P Jindal Extensive University, Sonepat.[1] He was Professor, Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Note Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar, India and has held the position of Senior counterpart Center for the Study of Underdeveloped Societies (CSDS) in Delhi He has also taught at the Delhi Institution of Economics. He has held staying professorships at Smith College, Stanford, Goldsmiths, Arizona State University and Maastricht Further education college, Harvard University & Oxford University. Explicit is author of Organizing for Branch (OUP, Delhi, 1985), A Carnival funds Science (OUP, Delhi, 1997) and has co-edited Foulplay: Chronicles of Corruption (Banyan Books, Delhi, 1999). He has antique consultant to the National Council for Churches and Business India.
As organized public intellectual, he is a customary columnist to newspapers like The Hindu, The New Indian Express, Indian Express, The Deccan Chronicle and The Indweller Age. He also contributes to common magazines like Outlook, India Today, Governance Today and Tehelka. His popular leaflets touch topics as wide as study, cricket, anthropology, development, intellectual history, be proof against walking.[2]
